Nature retreats MN is only 1 hour north of the St. Paul-Minneapolis area, right in the heart of the Minnesota wilderness.
 
When you arrive, we will take you and your gear back to your private campsite. No vehicles are allowed past the parking area to keep the wildlife happy.
 
Once settled, put your feet up and relax, or better yet, head out for some well deserved fun then come back and relax in your own private campsite.
 
Nature Retreats MN has two very secluded and peaceful bird watching areas and a wildlife viewing area where you have your own private blind to wait for whatever may come in!
 
Please note that Nature Retreats MN is a serene environment with plenty of privacy between camps. Couples and individuals seeking a tranquil escape to Embrace the serenity of Nature and relish in the beauty of the wild will be very pleased. You will be very comfortable and have a chance to see LOTS of different wildlife! (Hopefully)

A state of the art interactive map for planning all your adventures during your stay.

The map will show you our resident trackers favorite hotspots, all within an hour from your private campsite.

The map will allow you to pick and choose your activity and how far away you want to drive or not.

Escape to serenity in your own secluded campsite. Enjoy a cozy and comfortable stay in your fully heated camper/cabin, perfect for any season. Relax by the fire table under the stars, with all propane included for your convenience.

Please note: the campers have no electricity, and some light hiking will be required during your stay.

What you should bring

What to bring:

  • Personal:
    • Your own toiletries including a towel for the shower house
    • You should bring a sheet for on top of the existing mattress along with a couple of blankets and your favorite pillow
    • Camera and binoculars
    • Hiking and rain gear
      (some light hiking  is involved)
    • Bug spray if you use it, as we allow nature to be nature
    • Bottled Drinking water
    • Food for a gas stove top, outdoor grill, or dry/cold food as there is no microwave or oven
    • Coffee maker and coffee are provided but if you care for your own.
